Happy 5th Birthday Luke

We were blessed with our fourth child on June 4, 2010. We celebrated his 5th birthday this past June. This guy celebrates life everyday and we are so thankful for who he is. I dedicate this post to our son, Luke William.


You are quite a character.....
You make me laugh all of the time.....
You love to wrestle with your Daddy and brothers.....
You like to climb trees.....


You are very close with your only sister, Lauren.....
You wanted to go camping on your birthday, so we did.....
You love to be outside.....
You love to race your siblings, but you hate to lose.....


You have an amazing imagination.....
You are always fighting the bad guys.....
You say the funnies things......
You love to play board games with Lauren.....


You are a total drummer.....
You loved your new drum..... 
You started drumming right away.....
You and your brother Adam are buddies.....


You want a big drum set some day.....
You love music.....
You have a tender heart.....
You sleep with a little bear you've had your whole life.....


You are excited to start Kindergarten this Fall......
You will be homeschooled like your siblings.....
You love to watch movies.....
Your favorite snack is peanut butter on Ritz crackers.....


You have truly brought so much joy to our family. You have an awesome personality and are so fun to be around. You have matured alot this past year, and are such a great big brother to your younger brothers. Our prayer is that God will give you the wisdom and strength to be a godly man someday and lead others to Christ. Your life is a blessing.

Happy 1st Birthday Aaron

God blessed us with a sweet baby boy on May 16, 2014, and we celebrated him turning one this past May. What a true blessing he has been. I dedicate this post to our sixth child,  Aaron Charles.

It is so hard to believe that a year has gone by. You are growing like crazy, but are still very much the baby.  I savor every cuddle with you. Daddy and I as well as all of your siblings are thankful for you each day. What a joy and a true blessing your sweet face is to our family. We praise God for your life, praying that He will do a mighty work in your heart, helping Mommy and Daddy raise you to be a godly man some day.

Happy Birthday Lauren


Six years ago, on February 25, 2009,  God blessed our family with a sweet little girl. We have had all boys since having her, so as you could imagine, she is a special little lady to all of us, brightening up our world with the color pink.  We are so thankful to have her in our lives. I dedicate this post to our daughter, Lauren Jana...

(you even wore a dress on your first day of "homeschool" :)

(the two of you are only 15 mos. apart)

(your little brown doggie and pink bear that you've had forever)
.....you finally have your own room!


We have enjoyed watching you mature this past year. You are  extremely dependable for your age as well as a very hard worker. Your cheerful heart is such an encouragement to me. Your love for your Daddy and brothers really is the sweetest thing.  I love having a daughter. I do realize that I have an enormous responsibility to teach you and set an example of  how to be a godly woman. God has been so gracious to be working even through my failures. I can hear your faith in your prayers, thanks be to God. Our prayer for you is that you grow up trusting in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and that you will grow in your faith through the years, witnessing His love to those around you.

Happy 2nd Birthday Adam.....


It is hard to believe that we just celebrated our little guy's 2nd birthday! What a fun and challenging age this is. We are so thankful to God for this little character. He was brought into this world October 15, 2012. Life is better with him in it. I dedicate this post to my Adam Jared.

  You are such a joy to our family.  It is really sweet to see you in the role of "big brother."  We are so thankful to our gracious God for your precious life.  Daddy and I pray for you everyday. We pray for your salvation and that God would give us wisdom and guidance to raise you up into a godly man. I am soaking in your sweetness as much as possible.

Happy 11th Birthday Noah.....


It is hard to believe that our oldest son, Noah Robert, is 11 years old!  He was born on September 29, 2003 and was the first of our kiddos to call me Mama. I couldn't imagine life without this guy. We are so blessed to have him, I dedicate this post to my Noah.

When I look at you these days, I am really starting to see a young man. You are very independent, reliable and you are finally starting to understand the importance of hard work. Sometimes I wish that I could press the pause button on life....but I know the passing of time is inevitable so I am enjoying watching you grow and mature.  Daddy and I pray for you everyday, hopeful that you will have a strong faith in Jesus Christ and that you will grow in godliness, living a life of repentance.
